Abstract

President of Garment and Allied Workers Union in a dispute against the Registrar of Trade Unions, Haryana appealed to the Labour Court to intervene and resolve the dispute.

Description

The plea demanded the intervention of the officer to ensure that the Registrar allows the registration of the trade union. The rejection on the part of the registrar was a violation of the trade union act and reduced the collective bargaining strength of the workers.
