Abstract
Universal health coverage is extremely vital to catapult a nation’s overall development.
However, many financial constraints and limited capacity of the existing health
resources has led governments to think about engaging with the private sector entities.
This research study aims to present various options and opportunities for PPP in health
and aims to understand the preferred models of partnerships available under the
Ayushman Bharat scheme (health-insurance program) with an objective of guiding
future strategies for healthcare. It encapsulates many interviews of medical practitioners
and scholars who are also stakeholders for health policy. The project is reviewed in the
later stages on the basis of business model, reach, technology, status for policy analysis.
