Abstract
Letter to the Commissioner to direct the District Magistrate, Deputy Commissioner of Police, and Deputy Labour Commissioner to investigate if the owner has the license, how many SC/ST workers are employed, if the wages are following the minimum wages rules, whether workers are recruited directly or through a licensed contractor and if the rules of the relevant legislations implemented.
Description
Worker was abused, threatened physical violence, denied breaks or holidays, forced to work long hours without any proper documents of employment, the owners threatened his life if he filed a complaint against them.
