All resolutions reflect planning underway for the national level indefinite Railway strike that took place in May 1974.     One page leaflet addressed to railway workers in Western India informing them of the creation of the local coordination of Rashtriya Rail Mazdoor Sangharsh Samanvay Samiti in Ratlam for successful organisation of railway workers national struggle; the leaflet announces the holding of a local mass meeting called Ekta Divas [Unity Day] of railway workers on 14 March 1974 to discuss the demands and to plan the struggle.

    Local level circulars from railway trade unions part of the NCCRS. One is a circular no 18 dated 8.12.1974 titled: Minutes of the Meeting of NCCRS Meeting at Olavakkot. Among decision is a public meeting, A 'Work to Rule' trade union action from 15.1.1975; And a zonal convention be planned; The meeting approves the decision of Zonal Working committee of All India Loco Running Staff association to resort to any direct action after 31. 12. 1974 if victimised workers are not taken back by that time.
